About the whole issue of him using too many wishes in this song, I think they could've made him use the most powerful sorcerer in the world wish before this, so it would make sense.

I think this was done when Jafar was the angry one and Iago was the calm one but they switched their personalities because the main villain should be the more menancing one.

I agree with you, also if you watch the intro to this on the 2-Disc Platinum Edition, John Musker says one of the reasons they cut it because of how the wishes worked. In the first version, Iago is cool and Brittish, Jafar is Brittish and crazy, and there were unlimited wishes.

That's probably why they deleted it from the real movie. Although I have two theories: 1: Each of his other 'wishes' was actually just an extension of another wish and doesn't count as a wish on its own. 2: He's Jafar. He can do anything he wants.

Jonathan Freeman has a really good voice and I love the way he pronounces stuff. However, I can see how they wouldn't use this in the movie. This is too chipper for Jafar.
