sometimes people aren't scared of this because it can't happen so they don't fear it. But people like me are terrified to death by these. But in the west, imagine a typical zombie movie but instead of the classical 90 degree angle walking trees, the zombies are the grudge. So basically you're trapped in a dead city filled with "Grudges". In my opinion that movie would rock.

Ju-On beats remakes, no contest! XD The originals are sooo much more disturbing and horrific than the US versions. In the remakes, Kayako looks more gothic than scary lol but the Ju-On's, she looks more intense and looks much more disturbing and menacing. Kicks ass! =D

I've seen the shutter also - its okay but I found it average a bit and a little too predictable and they've just copied the usual style from the the original ring/grudge horror, but it is plausable.

this is the best japanese horror I've ever seen, grudge and the ring. still there's no other psycho horro from the west can beat this, believe me I've watched so many!
