This is a very safe video. All the "correct" pieces to make the viewer feel like an avant gardist. Extremely P.C. The collective guilt in America is massively exploited to the point where any negative comment is viewed as inappropriate.

Basically, it breaks-down to me "not getting" the genre, unfortunately. The thing is, I really want to give credit to something that's been hailed as the greatest band/album of '08 by basically all the media outlets, but it's really difficult to do that. It just doesn't blow me away, by any stretch of the imagination. Calling this crazy-exciting and revolutionary; that's laughable. But again it's a genre I'm unfamiliar with.

Not only did Spin call it the #1 CD of the year, so did Rolling Stone, so did Entertainment Weekly, so did a couple of the UK papers and Dear Science was consistently in the top 5 in nearly all music publications.
