Non ci sono Tavolazzi al basso e Capiozzo alla batteria, i due musicisti che li sostituiscono sono Hugh Bullen (o Kelvin Bullen?) e Walter Calloni, che avevano suonato nel disco Maledetti.

abito a S.Terenzo comune di Lerici (SP)nel lontano 1977 0 1978(non ricordo bene) mio cugino di alcuni anni più vecchio di me, una sera mi disse..: "ti porto a vedere un gruppo che stasera suona nella rotonda di Lerici...",ero poco più che ragazzino,rimasi stordito e inebriato e ora che mio cugino è stato portato via come Demetrio,ringrazio Diangle di avere messo sul WEB un ricordo fantastico..GRAZIE

ringrazio l'amico diangle per la precisazione, credo che l'ipotesi di hug bullen sia la più verosimile, anche xchè se nn sbaglio a quell'epoca collaborava con Finardi, che se non sbaglio orbitava sempre nel milanese, mentre kelvin suonava in una formazione napoletana. Prego xò chi ne sa di più a dare informazioni!!!

Dunque, in Luglio, agosto... il basso era suonato da Yan Patrick Ehrard Djivas mentre ne La mela di Odessa da Giulio Capiozzo. Qui però si discute dell'identità del bassista di colore presente in questo filmato. Io avevo ipotizzato fosse Hugh Bullen, che aveva già suonato in Maledetti degli Area ed altri dischi della Cramps, ma qualcuno ha fatto notare che potrebbe trattarsi di Kelvin Bullen...

Il bassista era Patrik Djivash attuale bassista della P.F.M. , consideranto che gli area nascono negli ambienti universitari di fine anni 60, i testi nn sono affatto criptici ma molto popolari x quegli ambienti!

Non ho capito il motivo della censura sul mio commento. Ho detto, e ripeto, che in quanto a testi gli Area sono certamente eccessivamente intellettualistici e spesso criptici. Lo dimostrano i commenti a questo video. Testi così possono andare bene per Battiato, ma non per un gruppo che si definiva popolare. Ciò non toglie niente al loro genio musicale.

Anche io ho avuto molti dubbi. Bravissimi musicisti, ma effettivamente testi trooppo intelletualistici (per essere buoni) per un gruppo che voleva essere politico e popolare. Della serie: parla come mangi (se vuoi essere capito)
