This is a video capped by my good enemy 'pjthefarmer' of the infamous in insomniac circle's, caller who rang in and declared to the nation live at 3.00am in the morning that she was legless but not of the alcohol related kind.
Without a doubt one of the funniest (if not the funniest) moments in Quizmania's evilly cut short stay on ITV1 early morning television.

The big bane theory explains for the creation of the universe, however, scientist still do not know why there is space, they are still searching. Think for a second, we as a species don't even know 1% of all the knowledge in the universe. To emmedietly make an assumption that a god created everything is illogical and doesn't even set under the basic principals of sientific fact. So what makes you think there was a creater if you have no or little information to support you statement?

Atheist morals. 1. Be a good person. Seems good enough, if you're not Atheist, you committed your life to being a bad person.

Atheists studies? Wow, nicely done, you've proven that you're LYING, because there's no such THING.

Being stoned to death is a harsh punishment, but think of today's leniant laws- if you cheat on your spouse, all you get is a divorce. Marriage is supposed to be an honorable bond of trust and loyalty, but nowadays it's passed off as the only way to be legally bound to another person;in that view, people can be together for a while then lay eachother off. Although the punishents are not as severe, the same pinciples apply to not only law but our values as well.

"Our society today is based on Judeo-Christian morals. The Ten Commandents are:" Only 3 of the 10 are part of law in the USA. How many people rest on the Sabbath? According to the Bible, working on the Sabbath should be punished by stoning to death. Adultery too. Does that sound like our society is based on Judeo-Christian morals? First line in The Treaty of Tripoly (1797) - "As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion..."

I have a feeling you athiests think I'm stupid because i blindly get my opinions from a crazed preacher, then run around screaming what i've learned into peoples faces. I'm no moron; i practice the study of theology(though i don't have a degree) and i have read numerous religous books, like the Koran, the Book of Mormon, some fertility religion books, and athiest studies. I am fairly educated on different beliefs and I have many points and counterpoints that have been well thought out.
By: wherezmyfreakinpie. on 08 Jan 09, 21:54:05
Don't some of those commandments sound like familiar laws? I know you're going to hate the whole only worshipping God thing, but He is concerned about the welfare of His creation, so He wants us to love and worship Him so that we may live moral lives.
By: wherezmyfreakinpie. on 08 Jan 09, 21:48:54
Our society today is based on Judeo-Christian morals. The Ten Commandents are: 1-only worship God 2-don't worship idols 3-don't use the Lord's name in vain 4-rest on the Sabbath;keep it holy 5-Honor your parents 6-don't murder 7-don't commit adultry 8-don't steal 9-don't lie 10-don't be jealous;count your blessings Those don't seem horrendous to me, unless your life is committed to disgracing yourself and hurting those around you.

there is scientific and historical evidence of Jesus' existence(just lookup some discovery channel documenturies). As for proof for God, you can't explain the supernatural with the natural;it's like trying to prove that emotions are tangible. Also, I wasn't trying to disprove the Big Bang Theoy;i was trying to explain that someone had to start it all. You can't get nothing from nothing, like how you can't start a spark from 2 negatives(that's why I used electricity to explain creation)
By: wherezmyfreakinpie. on 08 Jan 09, 21:28:48
I actully read in a political, nonreligious book that jefferson and others who worked on the Constitution usually looked up the Bible. And yes, a majority of people today and in the future will view Jesus as someone not real. In the Bible, it states that few will make it to heaven anyway. For once, an athiest with an accurate statement! Also, my preacher isn't the fanatical type. He preaches what is right and cares for the lost.
By: addmoreice. on 08 Jan 09, 20:59:58
so? what does the big bang (a demonstrable, verifiable, and evidentially grounded theory) have to do with electricity. let me guess....you get science talks from your preacher? or maybe the 5000 foot view from an introductory or popularization text and then misconstrue the evidence and information? your 'refutation' as you probably think it is would be as stupid as saying to an electrician: "water can only pass through pipes so i don't need cable wires". THATS how wrong it is.
By: addmoreice. on 08 Jan 09, 20:50:16
and that has WHAT to do with the likelyness of your belief? We don't care about the moral values of your belief system (though those are also HORRENDOUS) but instead the TRUTH of the claims. the claims are almost insanely unlikely. knowing that, why then should i believe?
By: addmoreice. on 08 Jan 09, 20:48:45
I _can_ show that given what we know about the universe, god is unlikely, and like all things unlikely i can ignore them out of hand until you can provide evidence. ergo. show me the evidence. other wise your argument falls down to the same stupid: "you either win the lottery or you don't, therefore your odds are 50/50!" it's stupid and nonsensical, and the same thing about the _likelihood_ of god.
By: addmoreice. on 08 Jan 09, 20:46:09
I agree that people have the right to believe. but if you can't put up evidence, then I'm sorry you don't get to step up to the big table and help make decisions. Religion is not necessary to society! it's inarguably a DETRIMENT to society. look to the research. the more religious a country is the worse of it is in regards to social factors. all things being equal, a non religious country > religious one. it's just that simple.
By: addmoreice. on 08 Jan 09, 20:44:10
yahhhh sure, constitution based on the bible. *snicker*. let me guess. your preacher told you this? sure jefferson used the bible....because he had to convince the ignorant hicks of the time he was a bible believer. He was pandering to the people, NOT something to be respected for. his works, writings, and outlook on life...much better. Read his personal letters. Jefferson wrote that he expected that one day we would see jesus the same way we see Zeus.

This caller must suffer from brain parasites or something. It's deppressing to know that there are people out there as dumb as that.
By: wherezmyfreakinpie. on 08 Jan 09, 03:47:09
Another note to Anshikuu- yes, you are being rather offensive. I grew up in a family with a long line of military heritage. We sacrifice so much for our beloved America, then some ignorant, nosewiping pissass foreigner thinks he can just blurt out general myths and namecalling to a group of people who hold the power and freedom for this world, and fighting for it for unlucky nations. The Japanese thought they could take us, and look what happened to them. We regret it, but we made our stance.
By: wherezmyfreakinpie. on 08 Jan 09, 03:25:50
The American mind? Narrow? Our great constitution that gives us our timeless rights to the greatest superpower to ever exist so far on this earth was based on the Bible-something schools don't teach these days. So far in our some 200 years of existence, Americans have won and settled wars, destroy, yet create cities, and now we're in charge of NASA, the successful space center that sent heros to space and back. We risk all we have to perserve our rights! And yet, Jefferson used the Bible.
By: Anshikuu. on 08 Jan 09, 02:58:01
LOL, this is the state of the American mind - narrow. No offense to anyone who is American though. Personally, I think the humans have the choice to believe what they want, and both sides would agree that to force a person to believe or not believe is morally wrong. Religion is a necessity in society, but when we are ruled completely by religion, human development is generally slower (I don't mean anything bad here). Humans have the right to choose, and they should be given that choice.
By: wherezmyfreakinpie. on 08 Jan 09, 02:32:27
ilwh00- Don't you think creation goes further than the Big Bang? For a spark to start you need a negative and positive charge.
By: wherezmyfreakinpie. on 08 Jan 09, 02:23:14
yes, i was told about God when i was young, but i was well aware of other beliefs as well. For example, i knew about reincarnation, polytheism, athiesm, etc. Also, Christianity isn't one of those religions where if you do one wrong thing, BAM!, your done. It's about having a relationship with God, knowing that He was so concerned about humanity's crippled state that He sent Jesus to die for our sins. All you have to do is know in your heart that Jesus loves us, and knows you personally.
By: ilwh00. on 08 Jan 09, 02:13:35
No one can know for sure whether God exists or does not but they can believe he does or doesn't. Neither side can show proof. An atheist can say things like "evolution" or "fossil records" but how does that disprove God? A Religious person can say "miracles" or "the bible" or any other holy book but that doesn't prove God's existence. So people can believe but no one will ever know.
By: daddyrich3701. on 07 Jan 09, 22:07:00
Hey wheresmyfreakinpie answer me one thing: Were you told about god when you were a kid? What about everyone you knew?
