From "Calle 54". If this doesn't impress you and at least make you nod your head in appreciation, nothing ever will...

What do you want them to do? let them run around with their guns and shoot our troops? No evidence of torture here.

what about the guys that are naked with sacs over their head, is that just a little game they play in iraq?

sup guys, just wondering if anyone here knows why dispatch broke up... read on one of these posts that it was cuz chad only wanted to write politically-centric songs and pete and braddigan desired a more diverse range of songs... i don't believe the hype (even though state radio does have alot of anti-government corruption lyrics.. gunship politico, wicker plane, democracy in kind, gang of thieves, ect...) Just wanted a second opinion. srry for the crazy long post. :).

ok. guys, i think it's pretty safe to say that nobody really cares who's a better band. so let's just stop talking about it now. this song is probable my fav song by the band or really any band for that matter. state is one of the most under-rated bands of this gen. they're kinda like bob marley meets rage against the machine. it doesn't get much better than that. great song. powerful message.

psh. Dispatch's best songs were written by chad in my opinion.

the lead vocalist breaks a string and keeps playing like nothing even happened. i love these guys. and dispatch is great too, while im on the topic. who cares who's better as a band, theyre both still amazing and have some of the best messages to broadcast in the world of music. especially state radios right me up. beautiful stuff right there.

word, dispatch owns all no question, but all three bands (dispatch, state radio and barefoot truth) are quite talented

yo whats with all these people saying state radio is better than dispatch dont get me wrong i love them both but i dont see state radio ever being able to equal the great mellow songs dispatch wrote. i mean flying horses and carry you are just perfect examples. dispatch wins anyday dont hate if ya have not seen them in concert its mindblowing.

george orwell is an author who wrote two of the greatest books in the 20th century. in his book 1984 the government is corrupt and they use the slogan "war is peace" george orwell is actually against the war

war may equal peace, but its more along the lines of Primitivism. the day people have similar views or higher intelligence there will be no war.
By: pochoandfriends. on 12 Dec 08, 03:43:38
I believe he means that a country is not at peace unless it is at war, a country is not content unless the war machine keeps rolling.
By: fuckedfromabove90. on 11 Dec 08, 18:39:40
war is peace? you really gotta live on the moon to still believe that!

if the pictures don't send a picture listen to the first lyrics.. thats a good reason to become a CO
By: fballfreak0102. on 09 Dec 08, 03:06:21
and none of those pictures are really proof of torture.. just because they are kneeling on the ground doesnt mean that they are going to be like shot or anything.. what else are they gonna do let them walk around with their guns?
By: fballfreak0102. on 09 Dec 08, 03:02:23
It depends on the contract.. you have to follow it if you sign it. if people didnt have to follow contracts do you know what the world would be like? think about it..
By: OreOs2440. on 09 Dec 08, 02:58:56
the pics dont all show torture they show what the bombs did and what the stray shots do. not everything is war torture
By: Chrisxantixemox. on 09 Dec 08, 02:56:45
Yeah well the guy they are talking about requested for a leave, and when he was denied, he refused to serve in a war he didnt seem fit. Your signature shouldnt decide your fate.
By: drumbum15000. on 08 Dec 08, 04:02:49
just look at the pictures in this video
