Sri Lanka's military says it's captured a town controlled by the rebel Tamil Tigers deep inside the rebels' territory. The Tamil Tigers have controlled Kokavil since 1990. It's only a few kilometres from the LTTE defacto capital, Kilinochchi. It's not possible to independently verify the army's claims. But as Al Jazeera's Minelle Fernandez reports, the Tigers remain defiant.

Also boogieblunt, you're comparing two totally different styles. Jel's style, and probably what you like more, is hip hop and rap beats. Dosh seems more jazz oriented. Also, one thing I've noticed comparing the two is Dosh's since of knowing when to overload the listener with sound is used to set up breaks, which causes raises and falls in the melody. Jel just flows thru his stuff at one layer of sound. Which is fine. Just different styles as I said before. And once again, don't be such a PRICK!

What !!!! Pricks? The only prick I notice here is you! While I agree with you that jel's since of timing and sound is just as well as Dosh's, Jel uses his fingers!!!!! on a drum pad!! Anybody with the timing and finger/eye cordination can beat on a drum pad and loop it. So piss off!!

I don't think you people should be giving advice to Martin Dosh. Maybe fixing your ears and/or tastes would be a better decision? Rather than have this genius of the loop dilute his art.

I agree. Technically, it's fantastic, but it doesn't make me want to listen more than once. I'm not sure if it's just too monotonous or what. Anyways, great job, but perhaps make it 3 or 4 minutes rather than 6 and make it more inspirational, dynamically varied...

what they're doing technically is great. But that's never been enough for me in music. The overall sound of it just hits my ears as odd. I don't mind odd music but this just bores me.
