It's not really intended for small cable management holes, but if you chose to use it for that, you can dab drops of super glue in the gap to hold it in place :)

Honestly i like the mod. I did the same thing, but the U-Channel is kinda flimsy. It's not sticky or anything so it moves easily. But once you tape its ok. But anywhere else...such as cable management holes...it can get annoying :/

To be honest, from what I have read, the shock cases aren't made of very good material, certainly not as strong as those made originally for the DS, and are only useful for repairing your DS if it breaks, I wouldn't advise changing the cover if its functions perfectly normally.

I've just ordered a PC-A7010 from Silverpcs (they sell the Lian Li line). And I wholeheartedly recommend them: I wanted a top panel with 2x120mm exhaust fans on the top. However, this was only available for the PC-7x. BUT, Daniel from silverpcs called me not only to mention that I'd be waisting $, but also to propose to take the original top panel and himself mod it so that I can have the 2 required fans, charging me as if I've ordered the optional top panel with 2 fans made for the other model!

thats if you don't do it right... spray paint jobs can look great as well, you were probably seeing overspray which is when a certain area gets too much spray or your paint wasn't shaken up and was cold... try putting the can in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes next and then shake it up

Hey nice job on the pc, thanks for the ideas. I ended up tearing my Rosewill tu-155 apart last night, drilling 2 1.5" holes, 1 1" hole and a .5" hole for the front panel and sata and spent the night wiring the whole pc around back...It looks 200% nicer now. I also tried cutting a 3.1" square in the plexiglass to mount an 80mm there...plexi glass likes to melt fast and reseal itself but i ended up getting it and it looks nice. Thanks for the ideas!
