Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are usually associated with this version of "Scarborough Fair", and while their rendition of it was excellent, it never brought tears to my eyes, like this one does. Very powerful and heartfelt singing, like she actually has lived the words herself. In a manner, I suppose we all have. Brilliantly done.

Celtic Woman's music gives me chills and touches my soul. I saw them in concert last year and was totally exhausted afterward, even though I was sitting still. The drums were like thunder and gunshots. Vocals were like singing angels. One of my favorite memories!

She's truly a rising star. She's got such a pure voice, it's nearly frightening. I love this song, and she does so right by singing it. Although, I prefer Sarah Brightman singing, but Hayley's number two, definitely.

You are getting slightly mixed up. Scots protestants were invited to Ireland after the Union to settle the Irish land, as were many English. To keep it out of the hands of the native Irish. What little knowledge I have comes from "A History of Scotland" by the BBC and Norman Davies' "Europe: A History"! There is much deabate at present over how long the Celts have been in Britain, but it's between 4 and 6,000 years at a minimum! And the Gaels are the earliest folk it seems followed by the Galls, (the Welsh/Britons), We have been here a long time!
