I'd never heard of Runrig until about 3 years ago when we moved in next to a couple of Scots here in Greece who have become our dearest friends, and this one of our favourite tunes. Lang may your lum reek!

They can sing it in whatever language they want. It's the national unity and pride that matters. If they want to sing it in English, let them. If you don't want them to sing in English, you don't have to listen to it. Go sing to yourself then. Other than that, this song was stunning. You could feel the pride running through these people. Even for a non-Scot, this is amazing.
