This particular set of I.T.F. videos are quite nicely perpared by whomever did so. The Heaven and Earth Pattern or Chon-Ji is one of the beginning "Tul" of The General's Taekwondo. But notice the Power of this Black Belt even tho this pattern is one of the first ones learned. Most impressive. Thanks for going to all the effort to share these videos.

Well... why must we hate you when you didn't do anything wrong... well some people just want to have experience in tournaments...And some people when standing in front of a huge crowd lacks confidence and that's when they get nervous and they'll forget so its ok...but its also good learning it before the tournament =)
By: CrxNightCore123. on 10 Dec 08, 22:54:26
People that go to the tournament, should be really good in what they doing, in other case there will be no point in doing torunaments. What i hate is that everyone can go to any compettion's even if they are crap... this is kinda worried for me but oh well, what can you do it's all about money anyway.
By: CrxNightCore123. on 10 Dec 08, 22:48:36
well i know what you mean, i know anyone can make some stupid mistakes, but pls to be honest... if you wannna go to a tournament isn't that obvious that you should be at least good ? I know, u ppl just hate me couse i know what my teachers says " go there, the most important think is the experience you get on competitions" bla bla bla... if you wanna go there you want to win, and if you are not good enough don't even try.
By: slavedestiny. on 10 Dec 08, 07:16:56
It depends. Even blackbelts like me sometimes get confuse with the patterns bcoz its about the same, esp. the first few.. and the difference between a white and black pattern steps is alot. coz the first few movements are about the same...if you get wrong obviously its embarassing... but so what...once done is is done.

As CrxNight said, you should be doing at least dan-gun in six months. Besides remembering all the moves in Chon-Ji is a piece of cake. I recommend you only use this video as a reference. It can't criticize your mistakes... Ask one of the Dans at your club to give you a hand for 5 minutes after class or something.

By: XXsmokepotXX. on 25 Nov 08, 15:12:23

First week of Taekwondo, I thought my instructors and partners were telling me to "key up," FCK! I was getting FUSTRATED! "KEY UP" "KEY UP" "KEY UP" The HELL!? This isn't basketball, SHT! Then I found it next week it was ki-hap! Hahaaaa. I felt quite foolish indeed.

no, its hard to see, but he is definitely in L stance.

this is a reply to one of HITMANCHON's comments
By: blinkobssessed182. on 26 Oct 08, 21:40:45
that might be miss using tae kwon do which is going against/disobeying one of the tenants of tae kwon do, shows how good your instructor is if you havent even looked at the tenants of tae kwon do other than just reciting them at the start of each training session
By: martialmichael126. on 26 Oct 08, 19:31:49
Anyone else notice he messed up on the last block? He was in a walking stance instead of an L-stance/backstance.
By: Kracklezz. on 24 Oct 08, 00:16:14
PervyBanana123, During Chung ji, You start out with low blocks... (I'm talking as if you do ITF) but after the 8th movement, (Punch in a walking stance facing the oppisite way you started) You turn to your left and do a middle block.
By: Carn82. on 23 Oct 08, 00:06:43
no, the bouncing (or ITF calls it the 'sinewave') actually generates more power.
