I just found out today that these guys aren't together anymore. I watched this comment and I was stunned at the stupidity of Mike's remarks that Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle didn't play on that field. That is moronic. They did play on that field. Redoing the stands doesn't change the fact that all of the greats played on that field. Mike's assertion that it will be the same across the street doesn't ring true to me at all.

I have to agree with giantsfan to some degree. I think Dog's not that bad, but Francesa comes across as arrogant and condescending, too often poo-pooing caller's suggestions when they do in fact bring up a valid point. At least Dog seems more likely to say, "yeah, that's a good point, I didn't think of that".

In terms of sports knowledge these guys are completely bias and represent the 'old guard' whenever tries to talk OBP, SLUGGING, OPS, etc. he gets ridiculed for being so reliant on numbers. The funny thing is these guys use numbers on their show (BA, RBIs, HRs) but these are the wrong fucking numbers goddammit. RBIs are a team stat really and more a reflection of lineup strength, luck, and position within a lineup. BA misses one thing...did the guy make an out? And that should fucking count!

I watch them regularly. If you mean that they cut off the callers before they finish sometimes, Mike explained taht during teh show yesterday. Mike critises the Yankees as much as he praises them. there's a lot of hate and bad things on the internet, blogging is nothing more than just regular people with an opinion and I have no time to read it and I DO agree with Mike that the government will eventually regulate the web. We are still in the wild west era of the internet. And I make a living off the web too.
