It was the height of Bruce Springsteen mania, and at that age I obviously didn't understand the real meaning behind his popular, upbeat songs that were being played constantly on MTV. I do remember seeing this video one night and feeling kind of haunted by it. I guess it was the first time that I started to see there was more to Bruce than meets the eye
