He meant ironic. Tool and APC both have Maynard, who has written many songs (and I believe, IS) about athiesm and bashing the idea of religion and theology itself. So, by them being Christian, it's ironic that they're being influenced by a religion-bashing dick like Maynard. MAYNARD IS AWESOME, but he's a total dick. Watch his interviews, lol. He just agrees and makes very aggressive remarks. Nice song.
