I prefer to think KoRn is heavier on their bass than anything else. I like their bassist and when he plays upright. Some"Nu metal" bands usually go overboard and add an extra of the same instrument *cough*Fagknot*cough* and get a nasty sound. KoRn actually sounds good unlike a lot of Nu Metal. -Finch

That was the start of it. Nu-Metal now holds its own as a genre. Just think about the origin of black/ death/ extreme metal it all goes back to one band that started it all and I will leave it to you to figure it out. It's easy.
