I'm happy to say I popped in the local mac store and got a copy of CoD4. It's amazing! The free online play is just as good as Live! My only bummer is the graphics are nowhere near as good as the 360's. Still great game!

Unreal 2004 and Battlefield 2142 is on MAC as far as i know. They should run pretty good on your system.

Dude... I SAID I KNOW THAT!!! I don't need the newest games that just came out but what are a few great classics? I'm a huge FPS fan so please, are there any good ones out there which will run well?

I don't think there are any newer shooters out there for mac. Games are generarly made for the PC market.

I just bought the 20" iMac 2.4GHz for movie making but I love games- Do you know any good shooters that'll run well? Also I KNOW pc will be ideal for any gaming fix but this is what I bought so I'll live.

What are you paying for when you get a Mac? With a 1.86 GHz processor, 1gb of ram and an 80GB hard drive a mac mini shouldn't cost £400

me too! I have been a PC guy for many, many years (old school back on the XT's and AT's) but now made the decision to move to Mac, and trust me, is the best!!!

Actually Mac OS X uses ram much more efficiently than Windows. Plus PCs deteriorate in speed within months. If you buy a $400 PC laptop, it's gonna be great on first use, and then within a month it's a piece of shit. Macs are made with parts that are built to run together, so that this doesn't happen nearly as quick. Macs outlast PCs 10:1.

By: nelson1tom. on 13 Dec 08, 02:38:10
so what if u can right click or not those iMacs are weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeak and can u buy a mac pro and put vista on it? cuz osx sucks but the mac pro 8 core is epic

If you can live without Mac OS, you probably should. Go with the Studio XPS if you wanna go prebuilt. It has Core i7, which is Intel's latest and greatest desktop CPU. Also, a tower PC like the Studio XPS is far more upgradable then an iMac. You're gonna want/need more RAM and a better vidoe card at some point, and not only does the XPS have better options stock, but they can also easily be upgraded later. Just my 2 cents

So is it worth it? Would I be better off getting something like a Dell XPS 420?
