Really everyone, this design rocks! Ran out of room on the last post but, just wanted to say you cannot go wrong with this design at all. My savings for my efforts tonight, $160.00. I hung my antenna on the wall. Not pretty but, it way works. If you are keeping up with the Jones'es, then you could mount it in your attic. Thank goodness I do not have that problem.. It is all about survival for me. Just put in a wood stove to. Life is good. Stove top cast iron cookware rules! Thanks again.

God bless you! Wow, this thing works great! I am getting 18 channels perfectly clear and the audio is even better than my pre-amplified rabbit ears! I made two of them this evening in no time. I took one extra step than this person did, I actually used #12 gauge electrical house wire and soldered my v 14" parts to the the main copper wires that hook up to the 75 ohm transformer. Heck I even soldered the 75 ohm transformer in while I was at it. I wanted to get all I could out of my connections.

Read about it last night and built it today. Works great! Made mine with a strip of pine and some leftover suspended ceiling wire (strong like bull). Jumped the wires over each other at the crossings. Mounted it near a basement window in a house 24 miles southeast of Detroit in Canada. Pulled in 12 analogue and 15 digital - some of which are HD. Good Project!

can anyone assist me? i made the antenna in this video, to the exact specs, using the same materials. it looks exactly like his. i plugged it into my DTV set top box and did a channel search. it did not pick up any extra channels, and the signal strength improvement was negligible. i am not sure what the problem is. i tried different coax cables, and longer ones. i tried repositioning the antenna, and even put it in 2 windows on opposite sides of the apartment. still no joy. :/

Its funny how the technical ability of a musician doesn't translate directly into the fame or popularity of a band. There are ALOT of guitarists better then Harrison, but no band more important than the Beatles. You can say the same thing about The Edge and U2. I remember "Louder than Bombs" and a convertable MG, and road trips, I LIKED the Smiths, but REM said more to me, REM made me feel the music and lyrics. The Smiths were easier to like, more commercially viable as a band, not "better".

Thanks, Judy--got them at the Lucy jeans outlet in Barstow, CA. :) They do seem to go with my new "lucky" banjo. :) I emailed Wayne at Goldtone about the new cello banjo on Wednesday--and it was at my door on Friday evening. It's gold plated and is lucky #21. :) It is super fun to play and I've hardly put it down since I've got it. :) It is tuned an octave below regular banjo tunings--so it is immediately playable. :)

I was a major Who freak back in the day and was over the moon when Face Dances came out. It showed that they were not quitters despite the death of their most beloved band member. (Apparantly Daltrey was gutted beyond description when hearing the news of Moon's death.) Still, I still believe that Who Are You was their last really great album. Thanks for posting this vid. This is still a good song.

I can appreciate that some people may like some Dylan songs more than others, but I cannot understand anyone who comes here merely to slag him off!!! I have no intention to upset anybody. It's just my opinion. I can like one particular performance and dislike another. And when it comes to Dylan, I usually find a positive thing in every recording of his I find. Here, the vocals aren't totally terrible, it's just the way he holds the last words of some verses I dislike. I understand this guy much more than you think
