Oh yeah-"who am I?" I was asked a question and I answered. A concern about incest is that sex is not always about love/procreation. Take a look at Virginia and West Virginia. It's not that tough to make new states out of old ones, so merging some together wouldn't really present much of a problem. At no place except for the ability of one branch to amend the Constitution. My point with my example is that it is completely possible to bypass the roadblock you found if enough work is done. For a quick summary, just look at the Articles of Confederation and the fact that we no longer live under them. These aren't fundamental truths though, they're simple man-made concepts of government. The Constitution is just a document, a thing that could be completely discarded if the people chose to do so. It only has as much binding power as the people grant it. There are checks and balances all over the Constitution, which make certain concepts unchangeable. Yes, I'm well aware of what government the USA is, but it doesn't change the fact that the laws are made and perpetuated by those selected by the majority, which is the key factor. I have a 2008 R32 with DSG and considered getting the engine re mapped, here in the UK a company called Superchips can do the work, I think the gain is only 15bhp and 20ftlbs of torque but better fuel economy, cost ius about £300, I don't if any other companies offer any better??

From what i understand savage stopped putting the dates on their rifles sometime in 1943. My own savage (not as pretty as that one) was made in 1943 so it saw some heavy use. As did my maltby which was made in the same year. You have some very handsome rifles there Jollygreenslug.

Interesting perception, thanks for your point of view. I would agree with most of what you say, however, land is only as fixed as the supply (which seems like it's fixed, but it's not entirely). I used to live in Las Vegas during the bubble and the Gov't wouldn't issue BLM land unless the price was high. The issuance of BLM land added to the supply.
