Just for everyone that doesn't know.... the Utah Saints version is a remix of Cloudbusting by Kate Bush. The original comes from the 1984 album 'Hounds of Love' which is the greatest LP ever made. As a musical minds, HC and Kate Bush are two untouchables in my mind. Got so much respect for both of them and whoever knew they'd work so well together. So forget Utah Saints, this is the definitive version. In my opinion.

well you hold a good point but that doesnt change the fact that its a good track, personally i find it quite pleasing to listen to, the melodic touches to the track are nice. Plus you only find it predicatable because you listen to this genre alot, as do i. I think partly that is what is attractive baout this genre it makes for easier more satifying lsitening but at the same time is energetic. sorry but tis track is nothign but good listening

I agree boss, Is heavily jungle influenced. The drums are very jungle. I guess it's just being rebranded as liquid funk. lol. First time I heard this I assumed it was a classic from back in the day that I'd never heard before. Think they were going for that classic sound. But yes, very jungly drum patterns.

If I'm not mistaken the "gaps" in the histogram also represent the lost or deleted information from the process you used to achieve your version of the image?? other then that Nicely shown, very informative. (not the way I would have done it, but I'm obsessive compulsive & don't want to loose any image detail. still I learned some new tricks, & look forward to seeing future tutorials.

Thanx mate! For the second picture: I tend to think that the other guy seperated the water from the pier as well, your water is too contrasted, he doesnt have so many pure blacks. Thus i guess he didnt use a dodge effect. But I just learned how to apply a dodge effect on a new layer! and the shift+click with a brush! And the ctrl+M to move the selection! I used it only for shapes) hahaha Ps is so amazing.

CORRECTION: The comb-like lines in the histogram (aka spikes) are not becos of low-res file or caused by the "abrupt transition" on the building as you point out @ 7:35. They occur when adjustments (esp in Levels/Curves) are really pushed and you start to clip/lose information. Hence the histogram is fine before you did the Levels. Basically its a bad thing and thats why proper exposure is even more critical on digital cameras. I like your tutorials but some of what you say is untrue.
