I understand that, but my main beef with it is, he is NOT a licensed doctor, which he obviously is trying to make believe by trying to 'help' these people on live tv. When in reality he knows little to nothing about what he is claiming to know, he is just trying to get ratings, and using peoples illnesses to his advantage instead of really trying to help them, while at the same time obviously being rude, to many of the people that show up to his show, which a real doctor wouldnt do.

Dr. Phil simply does not have a license to practice as a doctor anymore. He gave those rights up, when he took the show. Probably because of patient and doctor confidentiality. Dr. Phil simply gives advice from his past work as being a practicing doctor. Notice, that he never counsels a person after the show, he always offers to find a licensed physician for the guest.
