hmm perhaps we get the luxury to see Barca/Madrid against some english team :P Well first ones up is Real Madrid - Liverpool... gonna be tight the deffence of madrid isnt al that good this year.. and they still need to pick between Diara and huntelaar for the CL... guess thats gonna be diara for the deffensive power. chelsea and man u got some tight opponents to.. only arsenal got it relatively easy against roma.

ahh well i haven't had the luxury of watching spanish football for sometime. i only really get a-league, epl, champions league etc. perhaps we'll have to agree to disagree.

when they played against barca... they got soo much luck there with that goal of scholes... Barca was better then Man U... i dont say Barca played supreme because that season was just bad for them... but man u didnt played well in those 2 matches

hmm on top flight teams i must disagree, Barcelona is playing soccer the way it was ment to be... technique on its supreme.. Real madrid usualy plays also on technique, this season they are depending too much on Robben... I saw villareal played a terrific second half against real madrid, Atletico madrid also... they got alot of skill in that team with alot of combinations. I still see Spain's top flight teams on top of the English Top flight teams... last season when Man u won the CL

i am man united fan. it has some of the best football, but not of an even standard. obviously there are a few dominant sides eg. arsenal, man utd, liverpool, chelsea and soon to be man city. it may not be even, but the top sides play better football than any other countries top flight teams. that's just my opinion. and i hate all that wanky rolling on the ground diving bullshit. you see very little of it in the EPL

I disagree on that... i still think the primera division is the league where soccer is played like it was ment to be... no kick and rush just on technique... most england teams go for brute force... you got exceptions like i said earlier with arsenal and man united a bit... but most teams go for force...

yeah but this wasn't about why the football is stronger, i was merely saying not whether or not english footballers themselves were stupid, just that the league happens to be the best display of football regardless of where the players come from. it started by someone stating that the league was stupid, i was simply responding to that. the fact that they have a lack of quality english players in the epl demonstrates exactly why the england squad struggle, they should be embracing their talent

indirectly that gives the main reason why the english league is stronger then the dutch league... we stay mostly with the dutch players and england buys them from around the world

most players from the dutch league went to spain and italy... not to england... the only reason the english premiere league is getting better is because they just buy and buy and buy... if you watch the national squads you will see the netherlands are way better then england... just take last european cup as an example we destroyed italy and france... and we had a very bad day against russia. but the thing is... Dutch players are better then english players

in 4-5 years from now england is nothing because the best players of england at this moment will be too old to be good enough... gerrard, Lampard, Owen, Hargreaves, heskey, Carrick, Ferdinand, Terry although deffenders can be very good at a late age. But in 4-5 years the netherlands will be even greater then at the ueropean cup. or perhaps even earlier... names as Robben, Sneijder, Van der vaart, Huntelaar, Van Persie, Heitinga, Stekelenburg/Vorm, De zeeuw... en dat zijn maar een paar namen

Only reason england is getting so strong in Cl and UEFA is because they can only buy.... with chelsea and man city as proof... even liverpool and man u buy and buy... and about the hardness... i watch soccer for the combinations... de only team i prefer in england who does that is arsenal... and man u is close but i hate C ronaldo... the dutch league isnt like the premiere league but it is way better then those league 2 teams... Twente beats Schalke... NEC beats spartak and udinese... and for ajax, psv and feyenoord i dont need to explain a thing why they are better then some league 2 team... although psv and feyenoord not doing that well this season. But we also got teams like heerenveen, groningen, nac and last but certainly not least AZ. Who will be throwing high numbers next season in europe...
