That's the point. He could have "bonked"(i like that word) her as much as he pleased, without having to fear any consequences. She however would have been disgraced completely and never been able to rehabilitate her good reputation. That's why he does not touch her, because he loves and more importantly, respects her. I *think* its a Danelectro Longhorn bass. Do a search on Google images for it. A seriously cool looking bass, I remember first seeing GR on Top of the Pops in the early 70s and thinking "hey, neat bass..." Absolutely magic decade the 70s. The richest seam of popular music ever, IMO. GR were one of hundreds of brilliant bands around at the time. So glad to have been able to appreciate it first hand then, and to appreciate it second time around, courtesy of YouTube!

The girl in the painting is kind of ugly. I'm in two minds about this film. I'm sure this trailer contains the only dialogue and action in there- yet vermeer is made to look kind of sexy but he has a horrible beard and is kind of creepy...i have been known to buy films for shallow reasons :)

These guys are magnificent and timeless. Several people remarked that their parents had heard them years earlier. I first heard them in 1965 when I was 19; I'm still amazed at the age of 62! Twilight Zone and Radar Love never grow stale and these guys are also really great musicians who keep challenging themselves and continue growing. This is a band that is not sufficiently appreciated. Magical! A real gift to everyone! David

i can definatly say that he wasn't that bad. i hated the delay on the drums in the begining. i think he used the delay to get from the floor toms on the right to the ones on the left... he definatly hid when he dropped sticks and stuff... not completly obvious picking up a new one. the jacket thing? wow... don't know what to think of that. guess it's good for the drummer on the go? just never mind the snakes of cables coming out the back...

I wasn't a big fan of Golden Earring, but I absolutely loved this song. The Twilight Zone pinball machine uses the music from the solo while you're playing. It's epic. I wish I enjoyed these guys more because they are obviously very talented. It just isn't my cup of tea, other then this song.
