They probably put it on the genesis because of the controls. with Genesis games, all the controllers work. With the SNES version you would need a classic or gamecube controller. Why do we care anyhow? They're exactly the same!

It's a mixup, IMO. The SNES had a few graphical effects absent from the Genesis version, including the lens glare effect on the first level. And, the music, IMO, was better sounding on the SNES version and digitized sound was clearer. But the Genesis version had more sound bites and wasn't missing a level that the SNES version did. But, like "Mickey Mania," the Sega CD version trumps both.

It's funny, while the artists of the game go, they have a great sense of art design, reminiscent of Tex Avery, but not much concept of game design. You never quite know what space Jim is occupying or where the platform that he is standing on begins or ends. The stage layout is trivial and has no effect on the player. It is a seemingly random garble of platforms and enemies.

Yes. Dr. Light said that X was "better," but only because he had more gadgets. In all, the real Mega Man is far more superb. Although he may not have all of X's capabilities, he has some of his own, a better personality (X is supposed to be an adult, yet he whines more than the regular Mega Man, who IS SUPPOSED TO BE 10), and was in much better games. Plus, because we're talking about Smash Bros., the original is also more iconic. But enough about that; this is an EWJ page. Hype EWJ4 instead.

i played this recently and realized it sucks. im sorry people but i really hated this game after beating it. the comedy did not make up for the horrible gameplay. i found it waaaaaaaaaay more tedious then fun and personally thought i wasted too much time on it. sorry to those who disagree

Yeah, I bought "The Whole Can O'Worms" for a good friend of mine and we were pissed to find out that "The Whole Can O'Worms" was anything but, as it was missing a few levels. If my memory serves me right, it was also missing a few other things. I was going to by it for myself, but never got around to it. Even though I was pissed it was gimped, I'm still kicking myself for not trying harder to get it. EWJ2 was never released for the Saturn here in the U.S.? I could have sworn it was. Hmmm...
