I´m from Spain , bought my first Emmylou Harris LP in the early 80´s , "Roses in the Snow" , when I was a teenager , now on my mid-fortys , I still love her voice but more than any other thing I love the way that Emmylou has surfed on top of the waves of time , beeing herself , growing old with dignity and singing even better every day.

This is a very old song. I am from the mountains of WV and this is something that makes me think of the hills every time I hear it. I love this. Being so far from home, it makes me think of my family and brings back a lot of memories.
