I don't think Ewan does like all the media ra de da....but at least he is signing as many as he can; which is very comendable. I don't imagine it is easy to be in the limelight all the time. I know he protects his family from exposure, much like Johnny Depp does. It can't be easy having small children, being a super-star, keeping it all in perspective. It is his 'regular guy' persona that actually makes him so appealing. I think he is adorble and sweet.

The F800GS is fantastic. Great on the road and not bad on certainly most of the Off Road stuff that E & C did in LWD. It would struggle in deep Siberian mud I'm sure. It's lighter than the 1200 and theres a good vid here on YT for the GS Trophy in Tunisia. Ewan and Charley are slated to do Long Way up in 2009. I'll be interested to see if they go with the lighter F800GS. :)

whats the F800GS like? Seen the bumph - it looks very good. Thanks on the DVD - awesome And Australia - also on my wish list. On my 1st trip I met an Aussie in middle of Namibia who was riding around the world from Australia on a 25 year old BMW R65 (I think). He had ridden across Asia, the Stans, Europe and down the west coast. Now thats an adventure.
