That is not true. I have been training for 8 years now. I have a great, ripped body (not being vain...just making the point). My abs look fantastic. It has taken hard work, dedication, proper diet, plenty of rest and constant tweaking and adjusting of my routines. I use supplements, not that expensive, which do help, but the rest of it all comes down to exercise.

doing 1000 situps or 1500 crunches is actually dangerous. I was at a prison doing a tour and this convict was doing 2000 squats. He was built like a freaking mountain. He died after 1985. Ever heard of lathic acid dumbass?

i'm 14 year old, but i know for beginners - the goal of 100-200 crunch and situ-up is hard and possibly unachievable. in the military, requirement to graduate is 1.5miles run in 13:56 minute, 27 push-up and 50 sit-up. reach the goal everyday and eat right, a buddy maybe helpful. me and my dad reach the goal and/or exceed when there is sufficient time. we also consume creatine and whey protein. i'm not really proud to look like 17 'cause of my body built, but i know having this guns will pay-off

i agree that deathentangle is a tard with his comment but i havent worked on my abs seriously in almost a year and i still have my abs...not an insane 6 pack but it shocks me theyre still hangin around...what i mean is i eat whatever i want and dont exercise...maybe i'm just a robot?

Well that could work. But i doubt a lot of people can do 1,000 sit-ups and 1,500 crunches a day. Nice advice, but it's only good advice to people who already have good abs.

I don't think it would do you a bit of good. If you want to do very little exercise, try PUSH-UPS, SQUATS, and PULLDOWNS. Your abs will be worked indirectly... and plenty, at that. Doug :-)

dear Death Entangle...that really doesnt help you, hell yeah thats amazing for you.if you do that everyday i give you mad props. but all that does is strengthen your core..makes it stronger and makes your abs harder.eating right and doing caridio workouts is really a big step into getting ripped.
