I watched this when it came on PBS first, and I was so blown away. Of course I was a kid at the time but I LOVED it. However I do NOT remember him being quite this whimsical. I feel like I'm watching Mr. Rogers. "Now children, here's a story about Jodie Foster and how she visited the neighborhood of transwarp conduits."

But there are no living shadows, shadows don't think about how they can only see the soles of our shoes do they?
By: RBBlues. on 08 Oct 08, 01:28:39
no creature yes, but a shadow exists within 2d
By: MrAnderson1985. on 01 Oct 08, 23:47:16
There is no '2D' creature on this planet, there is nothing that only resides within the second dimension, everything is tri-directional. If there were to be a fourth dimension if wouldn't be spatial. That's just my theory, discuss..
By: MrAnderson1985. on 01 Oct 08, 23:40:58
Yes?
By: yurbuddy. on 29 Sep 08, 23:42:43
Your looking at my statement on a very basic level All approaches are an attempt to explain the same thing/things Read the Tao Of Physics by Fritjof Capra Yes... you can't exclude science from anything in life
By: Xrposiedon. on 29 Sep 08, 06:42:53
Hello....Mr. Anderson...
By: avp715. on 26 Sep 08, 09:07:13
Well... Its both, but the spacial explanation serves as a better visual representation.
By: avp715. on 26 Sep 08, 09:05:20
lol you just dont get it do you- their logic works perfectly and has been supported by most of the world's great mathematicians
By: avp715. on 26 Sep 08, 08:58:57
Sorry, but there are no "spiritual dimensions" in science.
By: ciscokid670. on 18 Sep 08, 23:40:03
Yes, there could be many many dimensions we cannot perceive. And no, a 1d creature cannot see a 2d creature. Nevertheless, a 2d creature can see a 1d creature because it already consists of the first dimension. Imaginations help a lot in trying to create a mental picture, i think people get caught up in constructing an image which they can understand.
