I know this was for Sesame Street, but there's just a wonderful innocence about this version of the song which is just undeniable. "Come on monsters, you don't have to cry, we can be HAPPY!" I love how it's just so simple to be Happy for them, cuz it really should work that way in real life.

i think it is good that rem can take the piss out of there own song it goes to show that you could realy have a laugh with them as individual people as well as the band as a whole some bands and individual singers dont like taking the piss out of there own songs in this kind of way but rem does and it shows on the video and they have proper smiles on there faces as well witch is great because it lightens the mood without it been totaly boring and wanting to go to sleep watching it
