seriously how stupid can people be? it has a god damn keyboard so complaining about its size is not a valid complaint. they can't make it the smallest possible with a keyboard you can use. use common sense. i for one view this as my dream phone since i always had sidekicks and never liked the idea of the iphone, because it had no tactile keyboards. this phone combines the two to make for an excellent phone for someone like me.

yeah. i got the SK2 3 months before the SK3 came out. i didnt know and i was like "shit if i only waited a little longer!" but oh well. regardless of being "out dated" i do love my SK2 and its the best phone I've ever had. almost 5 years and it still runs like new. its taken so much abuse and its like it refuses to die. i swear its like its made out of diamonds sometimes. built tough. im not trying to break it, im just saying its lasted me longer then any phone ive seen or owned. great phone

ah man i am so getting this phone. its like a side kick and iphone combined. i never liked the iphone, because i hated the idea of no keyboard. keyboards make for fast texting and thats why i kept my SK2, but i did like the iphones video feature. now i guess we have th best of both worlds with this.

T:Mobile's G1 may not be the best but for the Google soft application (Andriod) it looks to have a solid future ahead. And did you compress the hell out of the picture!? it looks great for being on You-Tube, you got some skills man, what ever you did its AWESOME! (were still working out the bugs in our footage)

In Addition, apple wasn't the first to implement the touch screen. Apple did what others did not. Advertise to the pits of hell. On the iPhone, you can't add any memory. And there' a 100 dollar difference in price between 8 and 16gb iphones. I think it's a lot easier to have an SD card. It's removable, so if you break your phone or something, you can easily transfer all your saved pictures, songs, whatever, to a new device with no trouble. There's supposed to be an update soon the allows the G1 to accept up to 32gb micro sd cards. And there are adapters, so you can use the same card for your camera or Wii or whatever

This phone is totally different then the iPhone. But if you want to go that route then the iPhone is just a copy of the HTC Herald (att 8525) but the 8525 had 3G on its first implementation and came out before the iPhone + HTC didnt make you pay twice for the same product to get the 3g.

Better than the iphone if you like your phone to be hidiously ugly. Apple's iphone has nothing to worry about at this time. The G1 is a good first attempt at cracking into the advanced smart phone market, but it's definitely no iphone killer. The casing is ugly, cheaply made and the slide out qwerty keyboard isn't up to par to even current phones on the market.

There are so many combinations that are possible, the phone would explode before you got the right one, unless you were lucky lol. Seriously. It doesn't have to be a set number of dots, so 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x5, 1x6, 1x7, 1x8, 1x9, 2x1, 2x2, 2x3, 2x4, 2x5...you get the idea. It is secure. I'm pretty sure it would have a wipe/lock out and restore feature after a set number of failed attempts..

Hmm true, that would make the calculation a bit tougher. And the chance to crack it a little bit higher. But what I didn't account for the last time was that you might not be using a 9 dot combo. You might be using anything from 1 till 9 dots. That makes the chance extremely small.

lol my bad, i was using the G1 to reply, cuz I was too lazy to turn on my comp. and i accidently hit the wrong button. Well the major annoyances are the fact that the End Call button is also used to lock the screen, and how the Browser doesn't run in the background. But I guess that just has to do with personal taste.

im am so getting this phone. I've always had sidekicks and i like real keyboards as opposed to touch screen ones so the G1 is the dream phone for a person like me. its like the iphone and sidekick combined and that keyboard and browser was the selling point for me.

Actually the G1 has a accelerometer, its just not compatible with the interface, using programs like "Power Manager" or "Pac Man" has the feature, so if you flip the phone it moves.

i have one thing to say about the youtube app on the g1. if you are connected to wifi the videos will play in the high quality feature for the video. but if say your using the edge network it will play the video in lower quality. it may play in high quality off the edge network if you have 4 bars i dont really know cause i havent tried when i have 4 bars. but this is a little piece of information for everyone to know

I just exchanged my Behold for the G1. Trust me it's THE best phone on the market. Hands down (The G1 that is). The Behold is tiny and cute and has a few cool options but other than that, it can't even begin to compete with the G1. The G1 will grow with you, the Behold will outdate pretty quickly. But that is just my opinion! Good luck.

i just think this phone is so ugly and all i need is a decent camera and music and internet texts messaging and the apps are so fun and cool on the iphone! it has a brighter more crisp screen. built better my cousin dropped her iphone in the bath tub and it still works! ill still look but for right now i love the iphone

the behold is a good phone, it's a modified version of the instinct. But in my opinion the G1 is the way to go. it's an awesome device with a physical keyboard, touch screen, trackball, and physical buttons. You have 4 ways of input, where as the behold has 2. Plus the android community is producing some really nice applications. The behold's keyboard is decent, touchscreen keyboards aren't always the best. The G1's keyboard doesn't take long to get used to at all. I sat go with the G1. :]

It's probably not that good. These full feature phones have horrible battery life. I had an iPhone and the battery life was so so until the 2.1 update. Check it out. You might like it for yourself.
