yeah, and danny way is always pushing the level. Only so far you can go before you pushing on death. The anouncer is right. He got off pretty scott free. You could easily die from that height. The x games aint what it used to be. Too many big companys have taken it over. its too much money involved now. So they picked and chose which sports stayed and which ones didnt based on rating. Back in the day they did a good job of introducing new sports to alot of people. Now its just what people want.

I agree so much with this. Many times I cringe at games that don't let me do a certain thing or have certain tedious aspects about them and when I go argue with fans of the games they all have the same answer: "But it makes the game realistic". Very good video. I don't understand why video games are so against stylization. I'm a huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki's movies (non-weirdly sexualized anime) and the stylization in no way interferes with immersion (which SHOULD be the goal). Besides, if we would worry less about realism in the graphics, we could actually have games that suck less.

Oh, and just because we know this stuff already does not mean that we are not interested in seeing lectures on it. I find it valuable in other ways. Hmm... Alyx from HL2, propably the best npc I've run to. And I guess she (or it) should be considered realistic in a way. I believe that the uncanny valley in games exists only because devs don't do a good enough job with the animation. It's easy to spend time on building a beautiful model and then waste it by not giving it a detailed enough animation.

Very,VERY well said. I hope to god that he's involved into gamemaking, at least like Yahtzee is, bringing his own awesome ideas into reality by making great, albeit small games. It would be awesome if a game featured something more important, some issue that is important to us in a way like Call of Duty is about World War 2. I've also noticed an interesting thing, the states of Maine, Wyoming, South and North dakota, are permanently stored in my memory, just because of the Red vs Blue webseries
