i like to say that i have a springer as a main. some of u might have heard of the utg tri-shot shotgun. i have 26 shells which means 780 rounds in 260 shots. i love this gun very much. though it is a springer my multi-shot capability is enough to take out aeg users. i prefer this gun to many aeg's. but the accuracy at long distance is a issue to me. that is why i'm looking at some gas pistols to use as my side arm. this will give me a good balance.

Your FPS ratings for your gas guns are optimistic in warm weather. Besides that, chrono your gas gun in february. unless you're using C02, you're gonna see a huge drop in rof and FPS. Besides, if you get so close that you're deadlocked with a tango and can't take cover, you were screwed from the start. The whole point is not to find yourself in that situation and I haven't in any of the matches I've played. Oh and airsoft may be a waste of money, but that's more reason not to waste money on gas.

If you're UTG Mark 23 is such a great pistol post a video of it's magnificence and prove to us that it is what you state. I'd assume that if gas blowbacks chrono at around 300, and the Mk23 chronoes at around 300, wouldn't the addition of semi-automatic be a +? if you and a tango were deadlocked, you fire, he fires you both miss, he can just fire again and get you.

I'm not saying I'm better than ANY AEG player. I'm just saying I haven't found an AEG player yet who can compete against me and my MK23. And ROF just means that you're wasting more of your power source and bbs than me. I don't need to recharge on gas or change a battery. As for gas guns being more powerful, don't make me laugh. Few gas pistols fire at higher than 300 FPS. I now have my Mk23 clocking in at about 320-330. As for rifles, if you're quiet, stay low, and use stealth, it's no contest.

Pretty arrogant- implying that you are better than any AEG player using a springer... If you're quiet, patient and methodical you can use ANY gun to BETTER effect than a springer simply because they are more powerful and have a highter ROF. The NBB Mk23 is almost silent anyway because it is non blowback and the only noise comes from the muzzle, which can be fitted with a very effective military grade silencer. It's more powerful and accurate and is semi auto.

They can chuckle at my stupidity, but the fact is that gas guns are a waste of time and money. Sure, you can crank out 29 rounds in a couple of seconds, but rapid fire isn't always a good thing. If you're quiet, patient, and methodical, you can use a springer to great effect. I wouldn't trade my Mk23 for any AEG because I haven't found one yet that can beat it when it's in my hands. That's not to say i don't love my AK too. There's something to be said for my 1000 round super cap mag.

Not if you use 'em right. I've been able to get head shots at 110 feet away with my UTG MK 23. I'll take a head shot over 5 clean misses any day. Don't get me wrong. I love my G&G RK-104, but the springer sees some action when my battery runs low or my 1000 round mag starts to run dry. The springer works under any conditions and doesn't cost any money to shoot except for bbs and it can use Wal-Mart .20s in a pinch. AEGs and GBBs have their perks, but to call them better is childish and naive.

I disagree. I can get an incredible rate of fire out of my uhc M1911. part of that is that I completely removed every safety on the gun (hell, when you move the manual safety, the gun goes off). Plus, it's more accurate and powerful than most of the gas guns I have faced. Plus, springers don't need gas or batteries. In addition, you don't have to worry about the weather. I like my springers and can take on gas guns any time any place.

Great review, but I was wondering if you had an idea of a problem I'm having. Sometimes (rarely, thankfully), when the slide blows back, some BB's get launched out of the mag and get stuck in the breach. Someone said that the problem was in the mag's little prongs that hold the BB's at the top of the mag, that it was probably worn out a little, that's why they easily fall out. I was wondering if you think that would be the case as well. If there are any other details needed, let me know. Thanks

i wouldnt reccomend CA rifles, only because they are over priced, and with some of their rifles, like the G36C, it does not come with a battery, so you have to buy a battery seperate, and spend more on the gun alone. than you do with say a JG [Echo 1] G36C which includes the battery.

not really, but i do not use it much. occasionally, when you squeeze off a shot, the trigger must not cycle all the way, as it doesnt fire again till you pull the trigger a couple times, probably not enough lubrication on the thing i guess. it is a secondary weapon which rarely gets used anyway. still, i like it a lot.

Is it GBB? They're gas hogs because they use extra gas to get that blow back motion. I remember there being a WE pistol that can use 3 full mags on one charge. Otherwise then a NBB is your best choice.

In NZ, you dont have to hav any orange marker or tip on any gun, even though nz is far more strict on firearms then in the usa where you have to have one, europe aswell i think. you could actually hav a real gun and paint or mark it with an orange tip, then law enforcement would think its a bb gun and not worry... or not take the proper precautions.

get a NiMh as you do not have to discharge them like the NiCad. a lot of times i carry an extra battery on me somewhere, but i have never had a battery go bad during a skirmish. i think the bat that came with the L85 was a large, but was a bit shorter than the standard large battery. i think my bro got the outside carry bag for the large battery. just carry a mini in your pack as a backup, dont forget the proper small to large connector

airsoftgi is where i got the kwa1911ds ptp. my bro has been busy getting the airsoftcarolina site off the ground, so thats probably why he is not answering these days. he is way too busy. i think if you get the L85 from evike, it comes with a battery. mine did, but that was a long time ago when i got that. just get a good quality large battery and you should be fine. the one that came with my gun was a decent battery, though most say batterys that are supplied with guns always are crap.

you know, i just bought the latest and greatest from KWA the 1911DS PTP is probably the best gas handgun i have seen so far. it is a bit more expensive (165) but is my new favorite pistol. you could not go wrong with the PTP KWA M9 either. the professional traing pistols are nice, nice, nice. i shall be doing a review of the 1911DS PTP very soon. have been too busy to post any new reviews lately, but i have three or four in the works for fairly soon releases

that just kinda turned me away from this gun, I know for a fact that the hammer is NOT supposed to lock back with the safety on, the real deal (which I have shot before but no one cares) unless modified but I like kjw's accuracy.... hard choice between kwa and kjw.........

Here is my new KJW (old one dropped on a rock :[ ) But anyway I thought Id give it a review and I did suceed in taking the tip off you just have to put some elbow grease into it.
Also theres no leak in mag, that is just what its like in hot weather. Simple physics people.
