Because due to worldwide market uncertainty, investors took their money out of other currencies (the Canadian dollar, the Euro, the British Pound, etc.) and flocked to the US dollar, raising its value vis-a-vis other currencies and against gold as well. This sudden downturn in gold is a bit of an anomaly though, and once inflation really catches on in the US (and other countries) after all these "bailouts" you will see the price of gold shooting up.

don't you get it, the dollar is supposed to be equally based on how much gold we have. So the more you print EXTRA money that we don't equally have in gold, the more dollars it will take to buy the same amount of gold. Of coarse it keeps up with it, the rise in gold is DIRECTLY linked to inflation. Its like the govt. is borrowing money from a bank that doesn't exist so we pay for it by spending our same little income on the ever increasing price of goods. The dollar is simply not worth a dollar!

It is very simple, like supply and demand, the more quantity you have of something the less its value. I know when I see special effects and there is none used here. If they made the first ball vanish and then sent a another one that is on visible on camera then what is the thing he is paying with at the end? The ball never goes under or over the bar....Maradona could do it back in the 80's and Ronaldinho was a better goal scorer and accurate shooter so screw you if you dont want to believe it.

Try pausing quickly all the way through the first kick see for yourself. The ball hits the crossbar and returns. Unless you have bad eye sight it isnt difficult to follow the ball and pausing it makes it easier to see where the ball hits. I rest my case and if you believe its fake then fine, thats your opinion and this is mine. Im also a Real Madrid fan and I should be the first to say its fake but I know for a fact its real. and as for the 21st century, I know special effects. i do watch movies

It's not fake because if you pay close attetion to the back of the cross bar the ball doesnt go into the black background and it would be very easy to see if it did because the ball is white and the background of the goal is black. You dont see the ball going over the cross bar and into the background at all and you dont see anything returning from the background so my view is that this is a real advert.
