I think the point of these videos is more to show what is involved and what the end result of the projects will be. I'm guessing that greater detail for the projects can be found on their website. I agree with you that it would be nice to have greater detail in the videos, but they would probably be a little long if they did that.

I like how the projects are but its not easy for those who don't understand much on electronics. I am talking about beginners. the sprint instinct is a total piece of shit. The first one I got was frozen in DOWNLOAD mode, whatever that is. So I took it back two days later and got a new one. It worked OKAY for awhile there, but all of a sudden it started freezing on me all the time. Now I can't even make phone calls without having to wait for it to unfreeze. This phone blows. I've been reading about tons of people online with the same problem. I hate this phone. FUCK this phone!

"Upgraded(?)" from a M520. I send THOUSANDS of texts a month,...or I DID. I find the qwerty landscape AND portrait virtually impossible to use one handed. No T9 or predictive text makes me hate the phone. hopefully they'll upgrade the software. And WHY, WHY, WHY is there no on/in phone storage for the stylus? It looks like they threw it in the box as an afterthought. What am I supposed to do, carry it around in my pocket and fish for it everytime a need it? Samsung let me down this time.

the worst thing about this phone which could be possibly the only thing thats completely terrible would be the vertical texting. Who in the right mind would create a vertical qwerty keyboard. I just bought this at bestbuy, but the USB cable does not comes with it. However, the design of this product is really nice. Satalie response is pretty fast. Auto reroutating, photo viewer, multi language text display. I'm Korean, and I was surprised this product support Korean text display as well. This gps does not have the "Road specch" function. The voice just announce "Turn Right" but well, I dont care about street name announcement, so it's good for me.

u just need an internet connection do donwload maps ... once it is downloaded it is saved so u can position ur self without internet after the first time but u will see the maps u downloaded and u will not see any updates in the maps until u connect to the internet again.

well the n95 is 500 euro plus 100euro for the maps then you have to add in the updates every year which is another hundred euro i think thats quite expensive thats why google maps is great "free" put at present the gps on the iphone is glitchy ive found that the wee gps dot jumps to roads your not on another feature i miss is the route recalculater if u miss ur turn ya have to stop the car to reset it "annoying"

the first gen iphone had very bad volume half the time i couldnt hear it ringing they fixed this on the 3g. better battery life improved network network reciever .then there is gps " its ok not great" i found it to be a bit glitchty and still relies on cell phone network to provide the maps which can be expensive when roaming im on the o2 IRE network and am boardering northern Ireland when roaming im charged 10euro a mb .all in all the 3g is a far better phone

the iphone only recieves gps signal it doesnt transmit it so i dont think this is possible although there is a free social networking app called cence me you can download it from the app store for free that records your phones current location and sends that information over ur edge ,3g , or wifi to your facebook and soon myspace profile

Oh, and there are some programs for Nokia operating system too. Are there for iPhone? For example I installed sports tracker on my phone. It uses gps and shows you your avg speed/pace, altitude, time, top speed/pace and everything is saved to the calendar, so you can check out for them later. I was told almost all Nokia phones require to purchase maps separately in order to work. Except 6110 Navigator, which I bought last year. Just needed to disable downloading option from options menu (downloads useless information about close places). So now it's free gps, with Scandinavian maps. If you want to get GPS-phone, get Nokia 6110 Navigator, it's best for the price. (unless iPhone has free maps too)

iPhone GPS uses GPS technology. However, Google Maps downloads as you go, so it will require a Edge or 3G connection to bring up the map. Unless you are in a WiFi hotspot. There is a rumor that TomTom is making a GPS program for the iPhone that has pre-loaded map information on it, so it doesnt require a 3G/EDGE/WIFI connection at all. We'll have to wait and see :)

I got one its an ok gps, the screen locks up quite a bit probably because Windows CE is the OS. It couldn't find the address to my house. It is my first car gps, i got the iphone and am spoiled by the multi touchscreen of that, and the iphone gps performs searches better, but does not have voice diretions. The KITT voice consists of pre-recorded wav files and dosn't work off the TTS, so KITT dosn't read off the street names, he just says "In 50 yards turn left" TTS does work w/other voices

Needless to say, I spent a lot of time on the right lane at that speed. People, and particularly Audi drivers for some reason, were passing me like I was standing still. According to the regs regarding a red flag it says that a race is deemed to be over if 75% has been covered and it CANNOT be restarted. Interesting to debate what 'cannot' means. Would it be for TV reasons why this race couldn't have been restarted for a further 15 laps

I would disagree. Spa '98 just rules for me, simply because I was on the edge of my seat throughout the last 14 laps hoping that Jordan would score a 1-2, and the fact that Damon Hill drove the ENTIRE race with a dry set up on his car. Monaco '96 I didn't watch live sadly, but it was legendary race for me and I was pleased as punch when I eventually got a chance to see it. This was a great race, but didn't quite match up to those for me. Maybe it was the record FIVE SC's that did it!!

It's actually 2 laps before. Thats why there was so much confusion. The officials thought Fisi was on lap 55 when the race was red flagged, so gave the win to Kimi (leader after lap 53). When the timings were checked later, it was found that Fisi had started lap 56 seconds before the red flag, so the decision was changed as Fisi led the race at the end of lap 54. Brilliant race anyway. Right up there with Monaco 96 and Spa 98.

Here you see that SE works good. Doesn't need a shitload of memory before it works fluid. I think it's the difference in software skills, memory was pretty expensive, it's now way cheaper, good software is now more expensive then memory. So that's the diff between SE n HTC. And google maps is also in landscape because of the full motion sensored screen flip of the phone. When they make this phone without a actual keyboard, I'll buy two! SE got competition from LG, now SE also brings newestfirst!
