i watched this movie for the first time exactly one year ago with my first boyfriend - who later broke my heart... it is a great movie but whenever i see it or hear the music by simon and garfunkel, i become sad :( but nevertheless a great movie...

I love this song. My first time was with an older woman who was 44 and I was 20! She was just as beautiful as Anne Bankcroft in her won way ;)My luck was that she was a sinlgle widow and I was her first time since her husband died. Man, that was 20 years ago. I still like women that age because they can teach you so much. Man, I love this movie!

I think thats kind of what happened, we just finished watching the movie in a class of mine, and as soon as all the girls were done squealing over the 'happily ever after' ending, our teacher pointed out the same thing...I think thats what they were going for, esp. with the song they played at the end, its kind of like, 'well what now?'
