Estuve en diciembre en el rio Casamance en la aldea Diogué que debe estar muy cerca de la que se desarrolla el corto, lo he visto varias veces y se me saltan las lagrimas cada vez que lo veo. Los discursos que para el cine pronunciaran Mario Moreno "Cantinflas" y Charles Chaplin van más allá de la mera oratoria. Son la viva voz del hombre de la calle que tuvo, gracias al destino, la gran oportunidad de decir sus verdades al mundo. FOr CLint Eastwood to have been named best actor of the year and not Heath Ledger, he must of convinced himself he was an asshole. Seriously to play a grumpy old dickhead like that character, Clint Eastwood got skills. La salsa es una fusion de muchos ritmos afro-caribenos como bien dice charito011 y uno de los pioneros y visionarios que empezaron a experimentar con esta mezcla de diferentes musicas fue el maestro Willie Colon, que para muchos es el que invento la salsa. Esto llamado salsa nació de boricuas y cubanso en Estados Unidos. En Cuba a la misma vez surgían unos ritmos afro caribeños, pero no es a lo que se le ha llamado salsa, pero son ritmos parecidos y de todas maneras la salsa se nutre de muchos ritmos tanto puertoriqueños como cubanos, pero el ritmo lamado propiamente salsa no es lo que se creó en Cuba. Esto lo digo sin prejuicio ninguno, porque Cuba y Puerto Rico son de un pájaros las dos alas y como boricua admiro tambiän a Cuba.

Tarrega's intended sound would be as he described in the score. Where he inserted crescendo, decrescendo, vibrato, ritardeno, harmonics etc. Playing as he wrote would produce the same sound he acquired when playing his own work. Of course the skill of those like myself would be lacking compared to Tarrega's.
