Yeah they are awful. I heard Billy Corgan on a radio interview saying he wished he had taken time to enjoy bands like Soundgarden and Alice in Chains back in the day, but just thought of them as competition. No shit! You didn't recognize GOOD music right in front of your face Billy? No way, not you. Your lyrics suck, your vocals SUCK. You may be a great person, for all I know you hand out sandwiches to homeless people in your spare time. But an artist you are not.

i saw Smashing Pumpkins live two or so years back in Philly, they sucked. they do nothing on stage and the audience was full of old people and faggots. clutch should be the band all others hope to emulate, at least while on stage.

i'm a fortunate man. i have been able to see clutch probably half a dozen times. one of the most rocking bands of any era without a doubt. a few buddies of mine actually got a chance to hang out with them after a show. kind of cool.
