I was thinking about buying the Shadow because it costs less, but now i'm debating whether or not i should make the investment and just buy this phone. it looks way cooler!

Definitely the G1. My friend got the Behold and hated it. The touch screen was unresponsive a bit, you had to press had. It had a touch-screen keyboard, but, in my opinion, the G1's keyboard is much better. Also, if you wish for a fast way to search the internet on your phone, go with this. We compared it and the Behold took about five minutes to load a site the G1 could load in about half a minute.

Actual keyboards will always provide faster and more accurate typing than any touch screen ever will. The screen is large , sure its kinda big but if your not some fag who wears skin tight jeans its size shouldnt matter that much. I want this phone pretty badly. It has the coolness of touch screen and the actual good texting functionality of a full keyboard. I think G1 > iPhone > Storm. But thats just my opinion.

on the contrary, touch screen phones that are released on networks other than at&t are in competition with the iphone so yea, it is ok to make the comparison. However, I could never get this phone because the iphone is to touchscreens what water is to any other liquid; it is the bar of comparison, the medium, sadly no phone is yet to compete, and I don't even have an iphone.

o yea, did I forget to mention the shitty battery life? This must be the phone you get just because you want to hop on the touchscreen bandwagon, ha! its hardly been out yet but there are a shit load of people who have it; just because its a touchscreen, can you say easily impressed??

People take the simplicity of the iphone for granted but frankly that's what gives it most of its appeal. I don't want a KEYPAD on my TOUCHSCREEN phone, that is just redundant. Secondly, you CAN'T text on the screen with the G1, you have to use the keypad. I don't know about you guys but just the idea of typing on a glass screen is awesome let alone actually doing it. Lastly, is it just me or does the G1 seem cluttered with useless crap? The G1 is what you settle for, it is hardly a first choice

i pay 65 dollars a month with unlimited text, unlimited web access (which is the G1 plan), and 300 whenever minutes, the business plan, i text more than i talk so i dont see why i need more minutes....but im happy! its an awesome phone! i had the Iphone, and this one is wayyyy better!
