When they were originally launched they were great looking small muscle cars, and I think the 80's version had a great conept change for the era but good lord between the 90's and now a mustang is a mustang. Just looks like the same old car you pass 30 times a day and they make the God awful GT and put fake hood scoops and side scoops on them yuck. the 05 model change looks much better. As for the sound bleh, any car sounds good with custom headers and a flow master. Best american car is the GTO

The mustang is a cookie cutter ford product that suites the range of crappy slow heavy thing with no power that highschoolers get because they are cheap and domestic all the way to the high end super cars like shelby or Saleen. Two different cars. RX8 is cheap thrills. Moreless a hybrid between a roadster and a sport compact. If you have an AWD wrx theres really no need to have and RX8. Poor fuel economy and the wankle engine has frequent issues still. If you have a fwd daily driver and you want a cheap sportster for some high octane driving or just to show off then an RX8 is an ideal candidate

i think it's a great car. when i get a steady job it's the car i'm getting. and the wheel slippage is an easy fix. just get different rubber. something with better grip in wet environments

Well,, maybe you'd get out alright. The average lightening bolt is in the range of 200,000,000 volts. This test was less than ten percent of that. The car body acting as a Faraday cage helps, but, I'll take a pass on the real thing. I've seen a car and a pickup truck struck by lightening, neither came through it very well. I was in my car, on my way to school, which was struck by lightning cruising on the interstate at 65 mph in a rain/snow storm many years ago. There was a huge white flash on the windshield, a crackle of electricity, and the hair on my arms stood straight up. The following quiet feel and sound of electricty that seemed to remain in the car for several minutes was creepy, to say the least. Didn't damage me or the car whatsoever, but it was weird, very very weird.
