because they were participating as part of a team that represented great britain as a whole, not just wales. i do understand your point that the national anthem they play is only sung by the english, but if they were to start bringing welsh and scottish national anthems into it as well it would probably be too much hassle. plus the americans would get confused, seeing as most of them call the british isles as a whole england :P

If you feel that 'traditions' are worth keeping at any price, that is your opinion.... but the majority of people in Wales simply don't care enough to justify the cost. We live in a democracy- Why doesn't the government give people the choice? Maybe those who want the royal family can pay £25 a year for them... this can then fund the £5K of booze in one night and charles' private jets. Personally, I'd rather go have my own (more modest) night out - with my own money... that I worked for.

Yes - and ours costs £40million... that's 7 times the cost of the Spanish Royal family. I work hard yet don't earn much money - I don't live excessively but still seldom have money for luxurys. Lol it depends which part of Wales you are moving to because North Wales tends to be where most welsh speakers are. I live in Mid Wales and i don't really know anyone who speaks fluent welsh exept my welsh teachers! I read the magazine and this event looks great but you guys need some proper TV production. Drop all the clever picture transitions - use 'cuts'! Your presenter needs a mic and to get his words right. If you're going to put a magazine name on a video, it has to be as professionally produced as the magazine - you're doing yourself a disservice.
