Diving here is incredible, We can get 30m + viz (on a good day 1 metre on a bad day!! lol) Abundant marine life, soft corals, anemomes, sponges, fish, lobster, crab, jellyfish, nudibranches, Whales, Basking Shark, porpoises sunfish all usual suspects oh yeah and seals.

I think Fujikawa is the signature dive of Chuuk, everyone loves it.
Camera equipment? Use Ikelite housing with light and Canon ZR90 mini DV. Took 11 hours of footage in Chuuk...

BC diving is fantastic. The best I'd say is Port Hardy, but that's a little out of the way. Hornby Island is great. To get to both you go to Vancouver Island, which also have a few artificial reefs in Nanaimo and Victoria. Closer to Vancouver itself is boat diving in Howe Sound. Plenty of spots there.
How long are you here for, and do you like the fishies or sunken ships?

I rememebr being on that boat crossing to Bella Bella with a bunch of log trucks a nd a large cat 980 loader on a lowbed in the holds below. the crew were chaining and cinching down the trucks to keep from hitting each other in the crazy Hecate Stait seas. Now shes on the bottom. RIP queen of the North
